7:33 You can't include the button press when you count the startup time. Start from when you see the boot logo. I prefer the InfiRay P2 because no battery to charge or replace when it get bad. If i got it for free as you did i would not say no, but when you pay for it with your own money you have to think twice before buying ...

The parallax problem between IR and visible light pictures seems to be in the both the MIF and PIP

There will be a point where they converge, but I was showing very close up images. Im sure at a longer distance the convergence would be better. I wonder if this is something that could be fixed in software?

@@morefunmakingit2 I wondered if it was the point of that “distance from target” setting that you set to 0.1 meters. But it seemed like you finger was approx 10cm from the unit. All good. Maybe I’ll get a thermal camera in the future, but probably would go for the phone plugin due to $$ and the amount of use it would actually get verses the $$ spent

Very nice, I'd have to sell several of my kids to afford it, but at least I want a thermal camera . NB If you are having temperature detection problems with your hands, I'd get that checked out. Could be neurological, or just age ...

Adrian would have that 64 board in the kitchen sink!

He would! I might have to use less bubbly methods as the mains water here is very hard.

@@morefunmakingit2 My water is also very hard. I clean with the hard water and rinse with water from my RO system (no mineralizer used so it is quite pure). Before I installed the RO I used distilled water (not "Spring water"!) purchased from the local grocer.

I dislike these paid ad videos, honestly it makes me look at other brands out of annoyance!

I'm a little confused? How is this a paid ad video? I've never been paid to advertise anything on here.

@@morefunmakingit2 just the free thermal cam. From UK gov website “Any form of incentive or reward - including money, commissions, discounts, leases or loans free of charge or in more favourable terms than those offered to the general public, gifts of any products - is payment.” It’s nothing personal, love your channels! This is a review video, and I appreciate the comparison as I'm looking for a unit myself. Thanks Lee

Sort of true... they gave him a 300 pound camera, he introduces the Kaiweets brand in a positive light. It beats spending 300 of your own pounds and getting disappointed, but I digress. And he compares it to the 200 pound dongle from the other guys. The other guys have their own handle-grip camera (they missed a bet not offering him theirs IMO).
