I'm so glad someone is talking about this. The number of pop and celebrity sheiks who will spread misinformation but because they take the aesthetic of sheiks they aren't held accountable is growing and its really important to address

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do 24:30 Quran... Allah said: And do not forget kindness among yourselves. Surely Allah is All-Seeing of what you do 2:237 Qur'an. Prophet wanted to put a stop to all cruelties to women. He preached kindness towards them. He told the Muslims: "Fear Allah in respect of women." And: "The best of you are they who behave best to their wives." And: "A Muslim must not hate his wife, and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, let him be pleased with one that is good." And:"The more civil and kind a Muslim is to his wife, the more perfect in faith he is." The Prophet (peace be upon him) was most emphatic in enjoining upon Muslims to be kind to their women when he delivered his famous khutba on the Mount of Mercy at Arafat in the presence of one hundred and twenty-four thousand of his Companions who had gathered there for the Hajj al-Wada (Farewell Pilgrimage). In it he ordered those present, and through them all those Muslims who were to come later, to be respectful and kind towards women. He said: "Fear Allah regarding women. Verily you have married them with the trust of Allah, and made their bodies lawful with the word of Allah. You have got (rights) over them, and they have got (rights) over you in respect of their food and clothing according to your means." In Islam a woman is a completely independent personality. She can make any contract or bequest in her own name. She is entitled to inherit in her position as mother, as wife, as sister and as daughter. She has perfect liberty to choose her husband. The pagan society of pre-Islamic Arabia had an irrational prejudice against their female children whom they used to bury alive. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was totally opposed to this practice. He showed them that supporting their female Islam raised the status of women, and made them equal with men in most rulings. So women, like men, are commanded to believe in Allah and to worship Him. And women are made equal to men in terms of reward in the Hereafter. Women have the right to express themselves, to give sincere advice, to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and to call people to Allah. Women have the right to own property, to buy and sell, to inherit, to give charity and to give gifts. It is not permissible for anyone to take a woman’s wealth without her consent. For more about the rights of women in Islam, see the detailed answer.Islam showed full respect to the women and ensured rights, dignity and honour and equal status of men and women in case of marriage because for being a valid marriage acquiescence of the bride groom as well as bride is mandatory. In this regard no one is superior.The Quran explicitly states that men and women are equal in the eyes of God. Furthermore, the Quran: forbids female infanticide (practiced in pre-Islamic Arabia and other parts of the world) instructs Muslims to educate daughters as well as sons. Allah said "And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers. Salaam sister. I think its really amazing to warn people of falling for the "holiness" of anyone let alone a "celebrity sheikh". I would refrain from using anyone's picture however. If we are right about them, then I don't personally know anything wrong with that. But if we are wrong about them, wont Allah punish us for defiling our brothers and sisters honour? I think speaking about this topic without using a specific person as an example keeps us in a safe place religiously.

@ Yes my sister, I don’t advocate to let abusers run wild among us. But can we say these specific people are abuser with 100% certainty? Personally I couldn’t take the risk to stand before Allah and have to defend what I said about them in this dunya. So instead I speak harshly against abuse, its dangers, traps, etc. As for mentioning specific people, I refrain from it. Even our dear mother Aisha radiAllahu anhaa was wrongly accused. Asalam u Alaikum sister, what you are doing is actually backbiting. Unless you yourself say that they are not "accused" but GUILTY. Can you say that? Off course you can not. That's why taking names is Wrong. What you generally said is correct but referring to specific persons especially Noman Ali is like giving air to the fire of Shaitan. This is already being talked about in communities. Please don’t take names but speak about it generally. We NEVER know, even with any evidence, if they are wrong. We always keep good assumptions and forbid the evil not the person who does the evil. The reason is that we speak about the topic and not the person specifically is because of fitnah. How many ppl must have thought bad about Islam and good righteous imams and shuyūkh because of your title? Lastly, please don’t generalize this to celebrity imams. When a person does wrong we speak about the wrong. But using celebrity culture reference of imams in your title shows that you are now assuming every Imam does this. There are many normal imams and more so who do this. But you don’t have the name. So instead you should call out the sin, not the sinner.

W'salam. Thank you for the criticism. Celebrity sheikhs who use their position to gain something from vulnerable muslims are cockroaches in my eyes. Just like evangelical christian preachers who promote bigoted views. Those who don't are not. I made this video because more of us muslims should talk about it as it's a growing niche. Malala was a western puppet meant to justify the military occupation in Afghanistan and Pakistan. So no, I would never want to be like her.

Scandals and Fitnas often arise from these so-called Islamic conferences where men and women sit together. Presenting your beauty and seeking followers on platforms like KZbin is, in itself, a source of fitna. Focus on improving yourself first.

I am talking about muslims in the social media space - more specifically problematic celebrity sheikhs. If you don't like the analysis, that is fine. These are allegations that will then result in a trial this year with the Wissam case. So stay tuned for that if you'd like to know the outcome with acquired evidence. I am your typical muslim girl who used to watch these celebrity sheikhs and feel betrayed to know that they had been abusing their power. That's where I am coming from.

There is no such thing celebrity sheikh! in Islam unlike other religioun we dont have a class of priests or imams etc! Islam recognizes that any one is vulnarable for sinful acts! we do listen to them as long as their teachings aligns with Quran and Sunnah,however I wouldnt take their life as an example as they are not profits or angel and they are pretty much vulnarable commit sins just like anyone.

I used to enjoy his videos but after learning about his allegations I also became disinterested and talked about this to my sister. She said to me, that you should not believe until it's proven, it could have been done to assassinate his reputation. While I do agree that one shouldn't multiply anyone by 0, but also make a conscious decision about who you listen to.
