I got burnt purchasing the AKAI Pro DPS 24 machine, AKAI pulled the rug from under it. I'm never ever buying an AKAI product again! They could have kept the DPS24 going as it was a brilliant concept but they blew it.

Configuration of this Akai devices is a REAL P.I.T.A. since you can't keep it connected to destination while doing it. There's no excuses. Imagine it, so you have to keep connecting to and back to the DAW or whatever, and to the config program ...

It’s ok dude, I just bought mine and already am as well, one thing I can say for sure is I’m new to producing and beat making and I thought I could just plug and play this thing, but of course it take some learning to know about everything and how to use all the features and what the mpk has to offer, trust me stick to this guys video and try ur best he has a great vid for the ep 133 ko2 full breakdown of how to use it like this and within no time the alienation i felt when trying to use the ko2 is now like a 3rd arm, it just feels comfortable, just remember repetition, practice, and don’t doubt urself, everyone has trouble especially when new to prod etc, good luck Man U got this
