I'm glad that she agrees that omni subjectivity may be compatible with timelessness, impassibility etc..... But, in regards to the Trinity consideration + omni subjectivity entailing an infinite regress it does seem that that is only a consideration for a social model of the Trinity, which she seemed to acknowledge.

The Professor is likely to be right in maintaining that God can experience all that I experience through my eyes and other senses exactly as I experience it. However, God can experience everything, except the fact that I am experiencing it. And this holds for ANY experience whatsoever: God can taste the same taste of pasta while i am eating pasta, except the fact that it is I who am tasting pasta. If this thought seems hard to understand or perplexing, think about the instant of death (in this way it might be easier to comprehend). At the exact moment of my death, God cannot experience the fact that it is I that am dying. No wonder he could experience all the pain and the ordeal, except the fact that I am dying. In any case God can never be identical to my self, to my innermost being. My self remains invisible to God. Should the Professor interviewed in this video write a book on omni-subjectivity, i believe such an issue should be honestly investigated in order to ascertain what omni-subjectivity entails and what it does not.

Can we trace a difference between God having my complete subjective states and therefore sharing my sense of self and God being actually me? Because if there is no difference between the two states of affairs, then omni-subjectivity is impossible because God cannot be me.

Yeah, that's a big question. Maybe you could trace a difference holding an Idealist model where beings are God's ideas. Tom Sawyer's subjective experience is in Mark Twain's mind, but Tom is not Twain. I see some difficulties, but it could be a good start if someone really wants to keep omni-subjectivity. I just cannot see how it could be done in a dualist model.

@@prime_time_youtube very interesting speculation. That would preserve my private self, which is STILL inaccessible and impervious to God, though he CAN know how it feels like to be me. It seems to me that in this case He would probably even know my qualia, but lacking something more elusive such as the fact that only I am myself. I may be wrong, but I cannot escape the feeling that i can't be robbed of my identity, not even from God.

Interesting idea, but theistic personalists just can't stop making God a creature. God doesn't need our first-person experience because he knows these things even more deeply without it.
