My guess, Ellie leaves for a job of for college and for some reason Parker does't want to come with her. Then Parker changes her mind and decides to go on a road trip to wherever Ellie is at and her best friend tags along to keep her company. But over time we see them bonding and find out that Parker's friend is in love with her for a long time and we see them get together And if my guess is accurate or not, it doesn't matter, I'll watch it 173528402729373 times over anyway
