I would make one change. Rather than bolts, I would use blind nuts on the bottom and the tightening knobs would have the threaded bolt.

Another groove jig the same as all of the others. What you didn't show was that you could not get all of the way through the base with your jig mounted first. But when you cut to you taking the jig off, presto, there was a completed slot. Nice try .....Look at the 4:44 time line slot...

Кондуктор, хоть и универсальный на вид, но со множеством ограничений. Мне кажется, что простые направляющие рейки, струбцины и скотч только дадут фору по времени.

Yes & no. Can be changed but not by the jig. Depth of the groove depends on Router bit set up/depth.

Does anyone else see that the jig does not work completely and it is caused from the size of the hand screw knobs @ 4:39? What would it take to fix that? I first thought to move the holes further but once you figure how this works it wont change that, would just using smaller diameter knobs be the fix?

Moving the the locking bolts a hole or more further away does work.

Or, you just make 4 passes on a crosscut sled and done. Cool over engineered party trick to show friends while making 10 times the mess needed(router). Also set your jig up correctly so you don't have to edit out your mistakes and try to hide when you can't even make a complete cut slot.

я не особо разбираюсь в деревообработке, но точно знаю, что на циркулярке в перчах работать низя по тб. может с фрезером тоже низя, не знаю. а пылесос - да, надо бы сделать, а то как этот😂

@@klllddd всё электрооборудование требует предельной концентрации, перчатки крайне не рекомендуются ))) при работе токарного, сверлильного, фуговального, особенно мощностью более 350 ватт ))), от остального просто надо держать лапки подальше )))

@@Poherov_Vasili ну я больше работаю перфоратором, болгаркой и сварочником. тоже электроинструмент, но там перчатки - вполне можно юзать. на сварке вообще без защиты рук не катит.

Seems like it needs to be longer. But the idea is solid. The title is pure clickbait because nothing used to make this jig is free or cheap. The hardware alone is probably close to $15. If you have a table saw, get or make a Kerfmaker. It's a simple way to get perfect dados with a regular saw blade and no measuring.

I think you're overthinking it. Based on your process of marking the piece and taping down your device, why not just mark the piece and then tape down two pieces of wood to be your guides?
