Welcome back to malabon, Chef and Ms Cams! Next time kapag bumalik kayo, try niyo po yung Pichi-pichi sa Arny Dading's or Dolor's original kakanin. I would say na sila talaga yung top tier when it comes to pichi-pichi sa Malabon. In terms of Pancit Malabon, Nanay's Pancit malabon talaga but yes, kanya kanya naman tayong preference and taste is subjective. Hopefully one day, maka-visit kayo sa kanila. More power to your channel! Nakaka-miss mga ganitong videos niyo with Ms Cams. ☺

Wow, I really miss Pancit Malabon. When we were growing up, my dad would always bring it home in a large bilao because there were many of us, and since we’re from Manila, it was quite close. Pancit Palabok is also my favorite. Since I’m craving it, I might cook Palabok tomorrow. Inggit din ako sa pichi-pichi. Oh! by the way, when I felt the server was friendly in Filipino restaurants in my 20s, I used to (half-jokingly) pester them about the ingredients if I really liked a dish.😁Joking aside, that’s one way to learn anything. 👍😋💕🙏🏼

Mindy Flores was my classmate in high school where Ninong Ry also studied during his early years. I can still remember the first time that I tasted the pichi-pichi of Milflores, and it still hasn't changed until now. Truly a well kept family recipe passed on from generation to generation.

Growing up, pichi with cheese was unheard of. Panay niyog lang talaga ang toppings, which I definitely prefer over cheese when it comes to pichi toppings.

Chef and Ms Cams try also Arny Dading's Pichy-pichy. For mechado, Aling Mely's Carinderia. And for Pancit Malabon, you can try Nanay's but my personal choice is Norma's Pancit (Navotas)❤ Namit gid😁 We're in Bulacan now, but we always go back to Malabon because we really missed their signature dishes.

I grew up here in Malabon Chef and the best Pancit Palabok is Rosy's they always have competition when Aling Rosy died there's no more Rosie's Pancit, their pancit has squid toppings it was near Rufina Patis

yung potrero ang totoong malabon. kasi san ba tumutubo ang labong? sa mga matataas na lugar, mountainous, or hilly places. eh ganon ang potrero, up and down ang mga lupa dun. so dun talaga tumutubo nung araw ang maraming labong. yung kila ninong ry, tambobong yun. it means, a marshy land near the river banks.
