He's not my favorite, but he was a very impressive Baldwin. After seeing him in a panel discussion l'm very curious about him; he was all bare, muscular arms and tats, very sexy. I wish he hadn't been replaced. The new guy looks too office-y.

@@AlicedeTocqueville he was not “replaced”.....Tristan was filming another series in New Zealand and with the Covid restrictions in place he couldn’t travel back to Wales in time to film season 3. The actor chosen as Baldwin was more of the businessman side of the character.

There won’t be any further seasons or episodes...and no spin offs. The series is completed. It finished filming in Jan 2021 and all the principals have moved on to many other things.

Matthew Goode is a great actor and serious eye candy but let's not forget James Purefoy (Philippe); he was a wonderful actor and also pretty nice to look at. I'm confused about the ages of Philippe and Ysabeau though. Vampires don't age, but Philippe looks like he is in his late 40's/early 50's whereas Ysabeau looks like she's pushing 70. Don't get me wrong, Lindsay Duncan did a wonderful job as Ysabeau but they made her look too old.
