But the church is not a business, and those who would claim to be shepherds serving the Lord and guiding His flock, would do well to give their lives for the sheep, as the Master Shepherd has, not to fleece the sheep. Maybe they can cut back on their wardrobe, or sell some vehicles, or sell some other assets. Or a combination of all those things. Assets can be converted to cash. And if the expansion of the church is truly for the benefit of the body first and foremost, then they would have no problem doing so. Wow when he mentioned TD Jake’s he lost me. Our church here in Nicaragua has no windows. We have bars on the windows to keep our stuff from getting stolen. We live in Leon which is known as the oven of Nicaragua and it is hot dusty and humid. It is pretty 100 degrees just about every day and it never gets below 75 degrees at night. My wife and I love it here and enjoy suffering for God. In the United States the church has lost it’s first Love. We are all about comfort.

Let me say this. Before I give my tithes/offering I always pray and ask God to reveal to me on where to send it. When I pray 🙏 God never fails to answer me. Last week I had some money and was about to give it to a church. I prayed and ask God to please show me who's in dying need of my tithes. I prayed about it and left it there. Right after I prayed I went on about my day. God came to me and told me that my own blood brother was in need of the money I was about to sow into a church. I called my brother and started a little small talk to see if he was okay. My brother was telling me about his day and his need of some money. My brother stated "Sis this morning I prayed to God, told him my needs, and ask him to please send someone to bless me". I got silent and ask my brother the time he prayed. He gave me the time and that was the exact time God spoke to me about blessing him! Many Christians complain about the lies and deception of politicians but the minute a pastor they like does the same thing then it’s take my money expecting God to be the genie and give exactly what they ask for through the hand of the government. It angers me how so many of these mega pastors play the poor pauper in the name of God as their bank accounts are way past what the average person makes in a lifetime while asking for money. I love God and hate evil. I have no problem with a pastor saying we need help to rebuild the church as he takes a pay cut and is willing to make the sacrifice so that God gets the glory of it all. Our church is growing and needed to alter some of the campus. Our pastor brought the amount and said if you feel led to give then give if not then that’s fine because God will supply the rest. In 2 days the Lord supplied the money through a couple families in the church being led to give. Obedience is greater than sacrifice when giving money. God will do as He sees fit to do. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen and amen.

Keion needs to stop. What he should have done was when he had the church's policy raised, he should have included replacement cost for any and all the contents inside the church. That would have been the smart thing to do. I have that coverage on my house. The insurance company will pay out what it will cost today to replace all items. That way you don't deal with the depreciation clause. It does cost more to include that coverage, but it's worth it. In a total lost scenario, you need the extra coverage. It also seems as though sub-par materials was used to build that church. It's time for Keion to open his ears and not his mouth, cause God is trying to tell you something. He knows there are not 20,000 members in his church. If I had the $2,100 to give, it wouldn't be for Keion. I would rather go and give it to those who really need a hand up.

The hardest thing for a pastor to need to do is ask for money to rebuild after devastation. Im glad he is using proper gear while he is in the building. Its probably better (less costly) to add while working on renovations than to renovate then expand. Im praying for the entire congregation to stay encouraged and stay strong during this difficult time. 🙏

Mike Murdock wisdom center. He once asked members for $ 1000. I didn't give stood in anyways, 30 days later got unpaid child support 1001$, 🙏 I liked Mike. He told the congregation once, Don't stay stupid. Best thing I heard from him

The cold part is that the Messiah was known for telling folk to give all they had and follow HIM. The book of Acts teaches what I would call, "the all things common lesson," where ppl came and laid what they had at the Apostles' feet, and it was evenly distributed amongst the ppl them, in turn havin all things common. No one was lacking. Where is this example in the assembly today? 🤔

As ungodly as it is, this sort of con is too common in small churches. Mike Murdoch and Todd Coontz are masters of it. In small churches, they'll say, "God wants 25 people to give $400" for example, but they always ask those who don't have $400 to give what they can. I know of no one in the Bible who asked for a specific sum of money or resorted to such tactic.

1st the church got hit and damaged because his faith wasn't big enough. Then, they always wanted to expand the sanctuary, but they realized the damage meant they were supposed to wait for the wind of God. Blinks his eyes and says it was the work of the enemy..😂😂BOY!
