This was really helpful for me. We are going on a cruise soon on the wonder with a 4 year old and 1 year old. I’m a little worried about dinner but I don’t want to put my 1 year old in the nursery either. I was also debating taking my wagon it’s rather large where did you store it?

We were conflicted about leaving our son in daycare during the dinner as well and we ended up bringing him along. He was mostly okay as long as we had something to keep him entertained. For our wagon, the bedrooms have a closet that was large enough to store our wagon when folded it up. We also noticed a lot of people left their strollers outside their doors in the hallway and no one bothered them. Hope you have a great cruise!

It's so helpful! Thank you for your video. I'm thrilled and nervous at the same time to take my toddler on the Disney cruise. One quick question. So my baby still drinks milk twice a day. Is it pretty easy and convenient to find the whole milk in the ship?

Thank you for the kind comment! About the whole milk, you can request whole milk through room service (which is free) or at any meal service. They will provide them in cartons to take back to your room. At dinner one night we requested a few and they gave us 3. Also, in the fridge in your room, there are spaces specifically to secure baby bottles. Hope you have a great time like we did!

Thank you for your comment! We took our son during the open house on the first day and he was super crazy about it and didn't want to leave. But since we did the shorter of the cruises and there's so much to squeeze in 3 days, we never ended up dropping him off. We just didn't plan it right. But that is one of the things I would have done differently because he's really good in daycare situations and I know he would have liked it more than playing under the dinner table every night. Hope you have a great cruise!

Thanks! We were able to request in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It may be that you can't request that until closer to your cruise date. If it doesn't show up, I'm sure you could let housekeeping know when you get there and they will get one to you right away.

Can you bring a wagon to the shore excursions that involve a boat transportation?

I’m not sure, we took our wagon ashore at each port, but we didn’t use boat transportation. Disney is great at accommodating guests’ needs, especially with children, so I’d guess they would allow it. But I’d check with the cruise to be sure.

I believe nursery is for 2 and under as 3 and over can do kids club.

Is there 24 h buffet option in the cruise ? Or only sit down dinner option available ?

You have the option of going to the sit down dinner or there are different food offerings around the ship during most of the day. But these were not 24 hours. On the Wish, the pizza place stayed open the latest, till around midnight I think.

It was our son's car seat that he sat on in the plane and in the rental car. It was pretty handy in the wagon as well!

Did you use the wagon on the ship or on excursions? In the fb cruise groups, many people without kids complain about wagons taking up too much space. I don’t want to buy a stroller just to make others happy.

We used the wagon a little bit on the ship. We mostly used it for excursions. But we did walk around a couple times with our wagon on the ship. It was so helpful!

I strongly disagree with the statement regarding the passport. Although not required… you are not thinking of the what-if scenarios and honestly it’s can be somewhat irresponsible. If anything were to happen abroad anyone, regardless of age will need a passport to travel back to their home country. Also travel insurance is a must. The things that no one wants to hear but are worth hearing and would save a ton of potential hassle. Passports are not that difficult to obtain, especially when you plan ahead.

Hey! Thanks for your response. This video is meant to give helpful tips, it's not meant to be an all-comprehensive tips and scenario guide. We had friends that were gifted a Disney Cruise by family and they didn't have time to get passports for their kids. They thought they were going to have to cancel, but they didn't need to, so we found that was helpful to know! But yes, if you have passports, we totally agree, bring them!

Hi! It was my first Disney cruise, but I've been on several non-Disney cruises and this was my favorite. It was my husband and kids first ever cruise though.

You can feel the ship move a little. No one in our party, including my sister who get sea sick easily, was affected.

Cost breakdown & total please?

It will depend on the dates you travel and the age of your kids. For us, it cost around $3,000 for two adults, a 4-year old and a 2-year old. It was around $1000 per adult, the 4-year old was around $500, and the 2-year old was around $300. We paid additional for travel protection and pre-paid gratuities.

Fortunately no tropical illnesses. Our little nephew has some minor stomach discomfort that was preexisting condition, but nothing serious.

There were lots of toddlers there! As well as grandparents and parents. A nice mix!
