ನಾನು ಮತ್ತು 1975 ಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಬಸವನಗುಡಿ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅದು ಒಂದು ಅಮೃತಾನುಭವ ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ಐದು ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದೆ ಇಂದು ಸಹ ಜನಗಳು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಖಂಡಿತ ಪುಷ್ಪಾವತಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಜೈ ಹಿಂದ್

ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ನಾನು ಈ ನದಿಯನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ ನೋಡಿ ಮನ ಮರುಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಗ್ಲೋಬಲ್ ವಿಲೇಜ್ ಟೆಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಹರಿಯುವ ನದಿಯ ನೋಡಿ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಬಾರಿ ಕಣ್ಣಂಚು ಒದ್ದೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. Bangalore don't deserve it. Very sad to see this river being contaminated every day.

There is one more river that flows in the eastern suburbs of Bengaluru..It is named as Dakshina Pinakini or Ponnaiyar..Just as Vrushabhavati carries sewer of Western Bangalore,this Dakshina pinakini carries the sewer of Eastern Bangalore..And it an astonishing fact to find out that this river flows until Cuddalore in Tamilnadu to merge with the Bay of Bengal.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponnaiyar_River

Sir, why we can't organise weekend with "VRUSHBHAVATI" from 10:00am to 1:00pm every Sunday, Just clean and make it pure VRUSHABAVATI from 1km every Sunday by Bangalorians. From this way we can have a good water source to Bangalore within a year, #JOIN HANDS FOR CLEAN VRUSHBHAVATI
