FILM DESCRIPTION:
Bailey is living the good life on the Michigan farm of his boy, Ethan and Ethan's wife Hannah. He even has a new playmate: Ethan and Hannah's baby granddaughter, CJ. The problem is that CJ's mom, Gloria, decides to take CJ away. As Bailey's soul prepares to leave this life for a new one, he makes a promise to Ethan to find CJ and protect her at any cost. Thus begins Bailey's adventure through many lives filled with love, friendship, and devotion.

pretty sure duke loved CJ more than Barry like by a lot.i think that Duke could hear Bailey's voice over. and how Bailey/Max was all about protecting and loving CJ. so the two dogs became friends. there more duke in the book. this scene is cute and funny and how CJ lashed out at Barry when he raised hand to her. that guy gave me impression too that he one of those it's just a dog people.

Any pet can turn against on the master like Duke, Perry may care about his dog but Cj was the only one to spend time with him, feed him, walk him, and to love him enough and remember someone was waiting for him back home even if Perry did had a good job to feed them both Perry was too busy just spent time with his own friend and when Petty try to stop Cj from leaving him but when he see Max/Bailey and Duke we're about to attack him if did do any more harm to Cj both are willing to bite Petty to protect Cj from him.
