What he said about zoe biting and turbo biting is so true. We have a 15lb chihuahua shih tzu mix and then we have a 60-80lb pitbull terrier. If the pit bites someone that's it. If the chihuahua bites someone it's ok. And then that 'pitbulls are bad' comes into play

It's amazing how we put our own narrative on animals- like when y'all were walking the dogs & you said "she's kinda scared now" & Steve said that's your story for her, but that she's really just waiting for direction. It's so true- we all do that! We decide what we think our animals are thinking but we're probably wrong!

Gaby Gauna swear by keto. I had to be on prednisone for years due to an autoimmune disease and gained so much weight from it. I successfully got off the prednisone, started keto in December 2017, and I've lost over 100 lbs since. Only 35 lbs left to go until I'm back down to my normal 120. 😁🙏

RosiePosie thanks! It's a great diet even if you aren't trying to lose weight. Does wonders for anxiety and depression too! And I'm not left feeling hungry whatsoever. Try it out. There are a lot of creative recipes out there.

That’s awesome that you guys are so interested in training your dogs!! Good job on actually calling in a professional! Keep in mind that there is a lot of different training methods out there... so if you find that his style doesn’t work for you and your philosophy, there’s more out there. I would also recommend looking into dog body language on your own. There were instances where he was claiming your dog’s body language was because she was “looking for direction” when in fact she was very nervous by him, laying her ears back, yawning, etc. No matter what training method you use, understanding dog body language is extremely important. 👍🏻

As somebody who has worked with other people’s dogs for years THANK YOU. People rarely realize how easy it is. When you hear it, it sounds so simple. So many dogs just want guidance. There’s usually no malice behind their misbehavior. Thank you for doing this.
@melindamercier68116 жыл бұрын
Threshold (doorway) training and structured walks are SO important for dogs. As well as the place command. They solves so many problems. It’s amazing how simply we can fix issues that we didn’t know we’re causing with our dogs. 👏🏼 It’s awesome you guys sought out the right help! Too many people just let their dogs be terrors in the home thinking if it’s not happening outside, it’s not a problem. But the lack of structure is really stressing the dogs out. This was awesome.

Huskies are the most stubborn brilliant dogs ever. I have an 8 year old husky that I've had since she was 8 weeks old. I trained her to sit, stay, leave it, up, off, lay down, turn off lights, high five, shake,play soccer and to walk on leash properly and even to pull a bike, and to go to the door and scratch when she has to potty, she also knows what No and okay mean, all with accompanying hand signals. I can tell her to lay down without saying a word. Exercise is important in bringing down their energy levels. I used treats to motivate her and honestly she learned to sit in a day.

So true. My dog is not perfect, she just wants to be dog and do her own thing... BUT she does listen and understands when I want her to do something or stop doing what she's doing. I'm the "bad, desciplining" parent and boyfriend is the "good, spoilling" parent... SMH and she now's it. When we're both in bed and my boyfriend tells her to come on top of the bed my dog waits and looks at me until I say it's Ok. Lol it's just funny how she knows who let's her get away with things and who doesn't. And when my boyfriend holds her leash on walk she immediately turns into exploring mode and when I hold her leash she knows she's going for a walk and can explore only when I say so. I'm not a dog trainer but I love watching Cesar Millan's show and dog training videos. Thanks for sharing this video Katy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
