When I was in 5th grade, I realized that two things would determine how well you do in life. Looks and intelligence. I was lucky that I had the intelligence part, so I focused on that. (I'm thin and in shape, but have a big nose). I did feel bad for kids who had neither. Of course, as I got older, there were some other things (perseverance) but I stick to my original idea.

1) I’ve met many people who, if seen in a photo, would get a lower number but in person are absolutely magnetic. 2) Botox and fillers look great when done properly. 3) You CAN increase your “number”. Posture, makeup, hair, clothing all go into how attractive you are to others. Was thin and fat too. Losing fat when you have motivation, consciousness and determination is quite easy. I lost 25 kg (55 lbs) and went from big belly in a matter of a year to fit with visible six pack (and then back to fat because of Corona). Life as a fatty is a waste of time. When you speak to some women you get to know randomly, they try to avoid you at all cost. This ranges from getting ignored in the first place even to "stop speaking with me, you're harassing me!". Most women don't want to be associated with fat people, exactly like men don't want fat women, but they'll have one in common: because of fear of being judged and spelled out of the community, these narcisists lie into your face. Life as a fit person is by far of better quality. I applied for a new job back then, immidiately got a much better payed job. Girls I spoke to were the first time in my life flirty. It was like a cheat-code for playing the game of life in normal mode instead of "nightmare" and the first months I couldn't believe how many women were suddenly interested in my "personality". Remember: it's not "society" which will f*ck you up if you're fat. It's individuals!

Even if we aren't and were never fat, most people are able to gain excess weight through overeating and lack of exercise. I was confused at first as well, but i guess he meant your "genetic" number. So let us say you are born as a 5, this is your Constant - things you can't change normally by yourself like hight, voice, face shape, body shape etc. - except you go for more "extrem" surgeries like Nose, Eye(lid), Lips etc. But through altering your variables like - messy/clean appearence (hair, clothing etc) - healthy/unhealthy appearence (being fat or to skinny, looking tired etc) appearence You can actually add or subtract from that base by yourself, like doing sport, eating well (which can influences the skin greatly), getting enough sleep. Or going for naturally pleasing ways of clothing yourself, because there are objective "rules" for things we consider beautiful like complementary colours. At least that's what i got from it.

As a women I feel far far more judged by other women than by men. I have body dysmorphia and the times I feel the worst about how I look is when I think about myself through the female gaze and not the mens. Adult Women are so much more critical of other women than adult males.

Yup. The harshest on women tend to be other women. Men, on the other hand, may have preferences, but they tend to ultimately be just that-preferences. If you take care of yourself, or even if you don't, chances are guys will find something about you attractive and more or less ignore what they don't. Like some guys are *just* really into big boobs. So basically, if you've got that then all the other "imperfections" don't matter to them.

You're quite pretty so take that into account. Women tend to be more insecure and competitive about their looks so I'm sure a lot of them are just jealous. Back in high school I caught two of my female classmates making fun of another one behind her back (they were pretending to be her friend when she was around) because she was wearing cheap off-brand shoes. They were just trying to cope with the fact that this girl was way more beautiful and had developed earlier than them.

Even if you love someone for their personality, physical aspects of them likely also contribute to that affection, or at least the carnal attraction portion of things, *to some degree.* If you don't think that's the case, try imagining someone you're romantically interested in/involved with in a body that you don't at all find aesthetically appealing/agreeable; same exact person, completely different body that is not *at all* to your liking and is totally unfamiliar. How long do you think you'd be able to remain physically passionate with them under those circumstances even when you still deeply love them as a person? Could you realistically see yourself growing accustomed to their new appearance and seeing it in an attractive light once more? Or would you be able to completely shut out the physical from your perception and focus solely on who they are as a person and derive carnal attraction *purely* from that? The answer to that isn't "no, I couldn't" by default either, because it's certainly not impossible to do just that (though you'd likely pull from your history together rather than *just* their personality in order to achieve that). However, it's not exactly the default human setting to do so which is part of my point here, nor is doing so necessarily something that people *need* to do for 'true love'. In general, 'true love', comes with time and experience together, and appreciation for one another, rather than as an immediate result of the appeal that your body and/or mind might have to someone. When that's taken into consideration, it's not actually so bad for people to be *interested* in you because of your body, no? Like I went over before, it's also perfectly natural for humans (and really all species that procreate to continue on) to operate like that, and isn't necessarily a bad thing either. It's just something to have a measured approach to, rather than swear off entirely. *Ah, and here's a shorter, simpler and maybe more direct, alternative response to your reply that takes a different angle:* Men want to have their neurons activated and to fuck. They also want love. If they can find a single aspect of you sexually arousing, physical or otherwise (I just mentioned big boobs because the physical qualities of a person is the subject of the video and it's the default thing people will be able to see first about someone with far more clarity than even if you were to try to wear your whole personality), then that's generally enough to cover the sexual portion of most relationships and make them immediately interested in you enough to want to explore the possibility of love beyond just love for your body or whatever carnal attraction that started said interest in you. Point is, it doesn't necessarily stop at simply "being used" due to them being "really into [insert physical quality you possess]," but it definitely does if you don't give them the opportunity to know you in a more encompassing level and vice versa *because* of them being really into [insert physical quality you possess]. As a person who’s lost almost 40 lbs I can say to carter that I 1- feel better and 2- have been getting a lot more compliments about myself, why? Because I put in the hard work instead of whining about society and why they won’t bend to my every desire.

When I lost weight I got less compliments, however the compliments changed. When I was fat everyone was clearly just looking for something to compliment; beautiful eyes, face, hair, maybe a piece of clothing. As I lost the weight I get way less compliments but when I do it tends to either be on a skill or something I worked for, which can include my body. Or when I get a compliment just on looks it tends to be my whole look. My own perception more or less changed in the same way. I used to think my face was my best asset, now it's like... I can't complain but it ain't much either now is it. Where-as I'm relatively proud of my body, especially in function but I can see the hard work I put into it. Was a pretty drastic weightloss though, 150lbs from my heaviest. So people definitely felt the pressure to pity-compliment me I think. Most brutal time in my life was when I edged into underweight / an ED, looked fine in clothes but once my shoulders or wrists were exposed, people weren't subtle. :'')
