I'm reading of Blood and Fire now and it def has dragons like others have said. Think John Gwynne meets Eragon. It's very basic in the beginning and a bit tropey but then it improves so much by the end.

Fireborne has been om my tbr to long too, so I'm also gonna read! Can wait to see what you think of Fourth Wing, if you read the whole thing or dnf it, what you think of Liam? Others I'm gonna try to read is: I'm afraid You Got Dragons by Peter S. Beagle. Lightningborn by Julie Kagawa. Silver Batal and the water dragon Races by K.D. Halbrook. Spark by Sarah Beth Durst. Burn by Patrick Ness and what I feel like. I'm so excited for this month for all of us❤

You should read the Fall by Ryan Cahill. It's the prequel novella before Of Blood and Fire. I'm not a novella fan, but it was so good! Definitely has dragons!

The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey is good. I read it when I was late high school so it's been a while, but as a family we loved the books. Another dragon book I don't hear enough about is I'm Afraid You Have Dragons by Peter S Beagle.

Have you read any Anne McCaffrey before? I can't remember what the series is called but I love Dragonsong!

Shadow of the Gods has mention of a Dragon but there is no dragon in it, if I remember correctly the dragon comes in a bit in the 2nd one. I may be wrong and it might come in towards end of 1st one but they aren’t a prominent part of the cast so to speak 😁 It is good though

If youre looking for a bite-size read toward the end of the month, i recently read and enjoyed Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher. It has all the charming childish whimsy one could expect from buying a dragon egg from the spooky magic shop in your neighborhood.

I've also been wanting to read more by John Gwynne after his amazing fantasy series The Faithful and the Fallen. But for now, I'll be starting Jenn Lyons' Chorus of Dragons series. Maybe after that I could... :)

Of Blood and Fire series is great, as others have mentioned it gets better and better, and the novellas are really good too. I read Acendant recently (and books 2 and 3) and enjoyed them too - and yes, there is lots of food in it! Both series (so far) are hits for me.

Yes, of Blood & Fire has dragons :) It's a really good book, but the second and third books are even better! Of Cinder and Bone series by Kyoko M is all about dragons and it a Sci-Fi series about cloning dragons, it's one of my favorites.

I've been bored all month and it's been hard to read anything (dnf'd too may books - like 40 or more) but I'm bringing my Owned TBR down on the bright side lol... I don't recommend any specific books because I have not read any of those I don't think but as long as you're reading off your Owned books I'm okay with whatever you pick. Have fun reading them all.

Dragon Rider. It's a slow burn but great. The great Zoo of China by Matthew Reilley is a book with dragons in it but not fantasy more modern.

I recently read A Time of Dragons: Once There Were Heroes by Phillip C. Quaintrell. Its a slow burn fantasy but so good! And book 2 will come out on July 1

Fourth Wing was awful, even as a romantasy it was garbage. I wouldn't have read it myself if my library hadn't had it. I was curious and was proven right that it wasn't for me. That said, Dragonfall is giving me the same feeling and is getting the same advertisement space in my local bookstore. I ended up reading the first chapter on my visit today and thought it was pretty good, so interested to hear your thoughts on it.
