As a backpacker, keeping my stuff dry is a much-needed part of the adventure. Put your stuff in a dry bag inside the backpack. A heavy garbage bag tied shut works well and is cheap. Smaller zip lock work if you want to segregate items. Keep the bag or bags in the pack so you have them.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Lauren, I have been following you for a few years now and this was the most incredible video yet! I graduated from H.S. in 1971 and sometime in the 70s I donated to a group called Save The Whales. I donated every year for 20 or 25 years but having never seen a whale and raising a family, the money was needed elsewhere, and I had stopped. I'm 71 years old now and still haven't seen anything but Orcas. I watched your video intently and I am so envious. This actually brought tears to my eyes. They were beautiful and you got to swim with them! Thank you again, I am a fan for life.

They are magnificent critters. It's pretty miraculous the comeback they made from being on the brink of extinction. When I was on a Commercial Boat we used to see Gray Whales all the time, which also made a miraculous comeback...

What an adventure Lauren. The whales were fantastic. And you had a guide who spoke whale. "These clicks means they are gathering". The waterfalls were amazing. I couldn't have done the hike to the fresh water lake, but once again you took us everywhere. The water caves, tunnels or whatever they were called looked like so much fun. Stay safe. ❤🙏

Well, i just watched all the videos that you've posted here back to back.... You work harder than any human being i have ever seen, its not easy doing all the things that you're doing, stress is taking valuable dream chasing time. When you set off for circumnavigating the Earth, take me... just doing systems repairs and maintenance on the boat will free up half of your time plus, you're in luck, i have several I/O and inboard certifications and am a ABYC certified electrician and have accumulated over 25 years in the marine industry, i don't get sea sick, love cats and am learning to play the ukulele.

Initially, all I can say is ‘WOW!’ 😮 What a stunning sight and beautiful experience - very envious! Whales and waterfalls a plenty. And good to see Mako briefly making an appearance - which made me sad: Mako reminds me of our cat ‘Beau’ in looks and playfulness, and independence and spirit, but sadly we just lost her to a sudden illness! She was thirteen and a beautiful soul. So sad! But your video has lifted my spirits and reminds me how important and beautiful it is when you experience and connect with animals.
