There is a big disparity between Cebu and Davao

Huge! Better and wider Roads, cleanliness, orderliness, safety and security, food resources, Higher income based on GDP and annual income, Employment both in Urban and Rural landscapes, Better standard and quality living, Lower cost of living, Lower utility bills, Better traffic systems, Lots of Diversion roads through Davao city and entire Davao region. Hands down to Davao. These are the reasons why Davao has been compared to the Developments of Thailand and even some parts of Malaysia. Cebu could not compete in so many aspects, except it has more high rise than Davao. But that's just it. Living in Cebu city is very difficult. It still looks and feels 3rd world for most of its places; except of course for Cebu IT and Business Parks.
