Saw these guys open for The Fixx in 84? (Maybe 85). They were amazing! Took me forever to find their record, but it was well worth the adventure.

lead singer pissed off record company, thought he was a star before having the hits to back it up. He screwed the whole band, and didn't think much of it.

This project was sort of dead on arrival. Shifting personnel and politics at record company, lots of unnecessary angst, bad tempers, big mouths in the band. Should have been released summer of '84, instead pushed back to January '85(music was already changing, this style of music was on the way out by then). Dysfunction all around. Doomed to blaze brightly at first, only to fizzle and fall apart. That's the simple version.
