During a night out with Yong-pil (Ji Chang-wook), Sam-dal (Shin Hae-sun) gets so drunk that she doesn't recognize him. While carrying her home, the two fall to the ground. Yong-pil notices a shopping bag that Sam-dal was carrying. He looks inside the bag while she is passed out to find a knitted scarf along with a note professing her feelings for him.

I think she got drunk while he was in the bathroom because she was nervous about confessing her feelings like he was. She brought the gift so she was planning it but then got nervous while waiting and drank for courage...only she drank too much
