The stress academics go through to survive in this country isn't easy. Writing manuscripts with stress and sleepless nights just to be rejected is not easy. We need to understand that the goal of most people is to make money. But we have been decieved that education through the formal school system is the best way to make money. Which is false. It's not surprising that higher education attainment is low among US and UK citizens. So they give out scholarships to poor countries. A lot of people don't prioritize formal education any longer in foreign countries. Most of the jobs we do can be taught within a day. Most employees even work in field that are completely different from their field of studies. The man is right. Sometimes upon our certificates we are treated as trash. You will never understand until you're in the education system. Its very sad
