My "Ramy" story: I stopped by A&F in Austin just to take a look. He found out that someone just wanted to look around and stopped what he was doing. Ramy then gave me a personal complete tour and treated me like I was a bigwig. Great drums and a classy man.

The phrase “meteoric rise” comes to mind. It’s been amazing to watch this unfold for the last few years. The drums are undeniable. That’s it.

I agree with all of the positive comments here. I was in Austin in March, and was fortunate enough to stop by A&F's showroom, where Chris Meade graciously allowed me to play on several of the kits and snares on hand. In short? THE most amazing drums I have ever played. I was doing things I've never played before, and had a huge smile the whole time. Not only are the drums phenomenal, but the vibe at the place is cool too. Check them out when you can. You'll be blown away.

Walnut drums? What kind of sound is that compared to maple? Also 4:30 so true about ambassadors. I love how open they sound and use them because you can always add muffling but not take it away.

Hello, Joe! Aren't these drums fantastic? All things being equal, walnut is going to have a more clearly defined mid-range compared to maple. Maple will be a bit more scooped. I hate to use a buzz word, but a lot of folks consider walnut to be warmer. Both tonewoods offer similar volume and projection. Thanks for the interest! Some day, I want a 14×4 like what started him chasing this sound and drum. Some day....and I'm a guitar player/songwriter, but I have so much fun learning the instrument and playing drums since I just bought an inexpensive Ludwig kit 15 years ago to hide in my basement away from the other musicians I know and band.

I was at Sweetwater this past Saturday. Really wanted to see these beauties in person. No such luck. In boxes, in the warehouse. I asked to have a look and was told no can do. Wah wah wah...

Ridiculous to not have them out on display. Not a good way to sell drums.

There drums don't hold up. Solid sound and it's got the look but they just don't hold up. Drums can't be fragile.
