I love Lush and still listen to them in regular rotation. This will be a great watch.

Not seen it yet but not sure if i'm in it. Saw Lush on their first tour of the UK on 4AD with support from the mighty Dream Grinder. From that gig in Manchester I got talking to Chris. So pre-internet shit we wrote to each other. Yes with letters. over the next few year we coresponded . Me saying where I was through futher education. I would receive vinyl through the post and guest list privalidge. met several times, Newcastle, Manchester, London, Bristol, Toronto.. ive loads of pic ofv friends with Chris. None with me. Always thought there would be another time. Shit there wasn't another time. Miss you Chris, such a great person, you are loved forever x

I just stumbled on this on Criterion and I had no idea this existed. It is so strange because this is such a niche thing specific to my own interests and even colliding a bit with my memories. I loved Lush back in the day, saw them twice, the Split tour being the 2nd time. The background music is a dreamy collage of songs from Split, it is all done really well. It is just a silent home movie but it was very moving. It had me in tears by the end.

Losing Chris still hurts to this day. I can only imagine how hard it must be for those who knew him.

I got booted in the head by a crowd surfer once. F*** that noise.

thing was, surfers were going up across the crowd. A pause, then their shoes would be taken away and thrown across the venue @@vladimirpupuplatter1984

Miki is so hot. Emma is a talent, so is Miki. Phil is a solid bassist. Chris is my favorite drummer of the 90s after Jimmy Chamberlain. Split is my jam, I can relate to everything about that album.
