Runehammer deserves a shout out! Runehammer has created crown and skull rpg, index card rpg, to highlight a few and had a bit to do with Shadowdark rpg. He has been around for about 8, 9 years now, and has released the series of videos mixing his Masters in philosophy with his decades in the hobby, highly suggest. RPG mainframe is his podcast. I highly highly recommend checking that out

One of the best DM channels out there, leaning heavy metal beer & pretzels and fast, rules lite game mods, which is my favorite. Index Card RPG is certainly on my top two list of best GM sections. There's some great reviews out there on KZbin if you don't have it and you're wondering.

I get that. I’ve played a lot of OSE and S&W, and am now in a Shadowdark campaign. I like it just fine, but for longer campaigns I like the pc’s to have more fiddly bits. It’s gets old to me otherwise

@@doomhippie6673 I got an opposite impression after watching some of his stuff. I wouldn't call him nice - he was rather dismissive and scornful to anyone playing different way then he. I've really tried to like a guy, or at least watch his videos but I gave up after like 3 and a half.

I figured he’s just trying to score with a blue haired poetry major. I try to separate the person and their politics from their rpg ideas that can be helpful for me to learn from. That’s how everyone used to do it prior to like 2013 or so.

good luck with your plan for daily presentations. sounds challenging in terms of supplying content at that pace. I hope you don't get dragged by the demands of production away from your rules system and development. as another greybeard ( started playing around 1976 ) I share many of your thoughts and perspectives on what is valuable and fun in D and D - and what has been lost in terms of at the table value and how the modern iteration of the game misses a lot of this.

Sadly it seems D&D channels are a dime a dozen these days and most just react to hasbro, or give the normal system/mechanic complaints. If I started a channel for D&D I'd start with trying to "speed run" a module or something.

Since Joe is a lawyer I think his channel should focus on how to play a lawful good, I mean awful good, Paladin. With a heavy side focus on rules lawyering 🙂.
