Once in a forgoten world filled with mountains, i climb to the top of one, i got on it's top at night, then i sat there, i could hear the calling of the wild life on that planet, i could hear the wind howling, and it's cold breeze on my suit... Have not even made off my first planet, my draw of starting location was horrible. Very hostile environment made it nearly impossible to get the ship fixed so I gave up on that one, for the time being. After watching this you have re-motivated me to give it another try. The starting world or location can definitely hurt. Start on normal for less troubles. Getting to a cave soon at the start can help with survival.

I hear you. I was about 500 hours in and had become comfortable making mold farms as a way to get nanites. The fact that the molds respawn if you leave the base and return felt exploitive, but it didn't break it for me, rather it inspired me to make several farms to travel between. Like yourself, once I learned how simple the dupe glitch was (I'd avoided learning how intentionally until then), I found myself weighing the value of essentially grinding for things like peak X upgrades or 100k's of nanites to boost up my ever rotating 12 starships to max. Ultimately, by 700 hours, duping enabled some high dopamine activity for a while as I warped around galaxies finding the coolest interceptors and immediately maxing them. I now have all I could want, only have a few S fish I haven't caught yet and no longer need any of the farms I'd built. Undoubtedly, NMS offers incredible depth and immersion, but it has limits. The desire to explore fades as there is nothing new left to do or see under the sun(s) - other than commit to a permadeath to the centre of the galaxy for the achievement. I'm looking forward to purple systems, deep oceans and future updates and my account will remain ready to engage.

I have THOUSANDS of hours across PC, Xbox & PS5. I tend to play an easy game, then change to maybe a permadeath save, then maybe play a new normal save. Currently on a new PD save and love the challenge. One of the milestones I have is reaching the centre of the galaxy in PD mode…. maybe give that a try?

Lots of days there! This is a RARE (yes, R A R E ) game that we can still find on today's gaming market. A game that it ask you only 1 time to pay (even that is not a lot of money compared to other games) and it still give us FREE .... F R E E ... stuff for that money that we all have paid. Think how this game was on his release, now think how it is in 2024 and now, ask yourself, how much money was invested into this game to make it as it is today, to make it competitive (to his kind of games) and still make us, the old players, to return and see what and how. YES, i do admit that this game is somehow.... boring?! after a certain time, but this is how is all games. You just get bored tomorrow or in 1 week or in 1 year, it's just a matter of time. Yes, it is not that challanging of a game (i know many want a pvp) but still, for a small company holding up his game (games) on today gaming market, making us, players content with new updates, with new story line.. i say it is one of a kind game, it is unique, it is damn rare!

Or play on Console, it's absolutely beautiful on PS4/5. Either way, I'm jealous of you being able to play it with fresh eyes for the first time! Enjoy it. It's one of the best games ever made 🚀✨️

@@cowLYT i played it a bit, I think abt 20 hours, set up a base and did some quests, but I stopped because I couldnt take the low fps anymore. Even with minimum settings it ran at like 20 fps. Once I get a new pc, as I got this one in 2020, Ill play it again and finish the main story. My pc specs, if you want to know, are: ryzen 3 3200 g with inegrated vega 8 graphics of 2 GB of VRAM and 8 GB of ram ddr4 and a 128gb SSD, but I install it on the 500GB hard drive as the SSD never has space.
