Don't forget that with units like logging camp you can set the area to be worked separately from moving it around. So you can get the hill it won't let you build on... Same with hunting and foraging camps. And look into barter huts.

If you noticed in the overlay "Smell" is under development. Putting the tanner (and charcoal burners) waaaaaaayyyyy out of town will be necessary in the future, so take that into account for planning now will save some rebuilding later.

I've had a similar thing there liquifying and solidifying gas reduced crashing. I guess freezing is like filling it in with solid.

Latest patch made the trade location irrelevant. Traders now go to a random trade point, not the nearest. Which means villages on the edge might have an occasional short walk, but will more often have a trip across the map.

More games need a GUI scale option like this does. I'm sitting pretty far from my screen because of an odd setup, and some games don't have an option for GUI scale. Especially in games with the resource icons and numbers, it can be hard to make out, especially when a game's font makes things like 0 and 8 or 1 and 7 look too similar. And the big publisher games are often worse about including it than the smaller games. I picked up Civ 6 and Stellaris over the Steam winter sale, and I don't think either has the option.
