Title: The Flower That Never Withers
In a small village, there lived a girl named Bunga. She was a smart and spirited girl, but there was one problem in her life, which was her relationship with her father, Mr. Arman. Mr. Arman was a simple, sincere man who worked hard as a farmer to ensure Bunga had a decent life and a good education. However, since she was little, Bunga always felt that the way her father treated her was not right.
Mr. Arman raised Bunga alone after her mother passed away. He raised his daughter with love, but sometimes, being too protective made Bunga feel constrained. Every time Bunga wanted to do something, her father always gave her lots of rules and warnings. According to Bunga, her father was too strict and could not understand that Bunga wanted freedom.
One day, when Bunga came home late from extracurricular activities at school, her father was already waiting for her in front of the house with a worried face.
"Bunga, where have you been? Dad was so worried!" asked Mr. Arman in a worried tone.
Bunga looked at her father in annoyance. "Dad is always worried! I just came home a little late, that's all. I'm a big boy, Dad. I know what I'm doing!"
Mr. Arman was silent, hearing his daughter's words. He took a deep breath, and the flower realized that her father had never understood her feelings.
Days passed with small arguments continuing between the two. Bunga increasingly felt that her father never considered her mature enough to make her own decisions.
One afternoon, as Bunga was sitting looking at the scenery, she saw her father walking towards her. Without saying anything, Mr. Arman sat down next to her and took a deep breath.
"Bunga, maybe you feel that Dad is too strict," said Mr. Arman softly. "But I want you to know, everything I do is because I love you. I'm afraid that if something happens to you, I won't be able to forgive myself."
Bunga looked at her father, this time without anger. She saw her father who was getting older and his eyes looked tired but full of love. Bunga began to realize, even though she had felt restrained all this time, everything her father did was not because he didn't trust her, but because he was afraid of losing her.
With a slightly trembling voice, Bunga said, "I'm sorry, Dad. I just want to feel trusted, but I don't know how to show my feelings."
Mr. Arman smiled. "I'm sorry too, Bunga. I was too scared. Because you are the only family left, from now on we will learn to understand each other again, okay?
And that afternoon, they shared stories and slowly, Bunga learned to see the sincerity behind her father's tough attitude, while Mr. Arman learned to give his daughter space to grow and develop.
Although not everything is perfect, their relationship is getting better. Bunga finally realizes that her father is the most sincere figure in her life, a flower that never fades.
