Hi Meredith IMO the discolouration of the Galuchat bag isn’t a quality control issue, but rather what happens to lighter skins as the sealing finish yellows over time with exposure to light and/or contact with lotions, makeup, etc.. This also happens with lizard skins. Not specifically a Fendi issue, but rather the nature of those exotics. It can occur with any brand. Only way to avoid is to buy Galuchat in darker colours or deeper tones, and keep out of sunlight.. Hope this helps in your collecting journey.

I don’t necessarily think it’s a quality control issue with either peace more so than the nature of the products. I have a ring lizard, Fendi piece and eventually every scale that is white is going to turn yellow, and it’s due to exposure to the sun and just natural aging. Her measuring wizard pieces do the same thing and there is nothing that can be done. They cannot be bleached or treated or anything. It is just the nature of the skin. That usually happens with white furs as well. They start to get a yellow cast to them with exposure to the sun and also with age.

Beautiful bag ! Love the green and is perfect in your collection. Really disappointing that the fox was even shipped from Rome with that issue, you’d have hoped somebody noticed that, but really good that your sales associate is so diligent and that they did the right thing with a refund !!

This is not what you want to hear but those aren't quality issues they're just part of the natural aging process of the materials I understand you not liking it, it absolutely sucks that it's happening so soon after they were released, and they definitely should have warned clients about this happening over time but unless these materials are kept in a perfectly controlled environment it's impossible for them to not yellow even a little
