You can get an achievement from loosing a pup to a pack led by your dispersals, it’s called Bad Blood

I don't want to use up names and confuse myself but I like keeping up with the rival pack leaders especially in fights so I name them their pack name and either m or f just so it's easier to keep track of them.

If you want to name the rivals but not use potential pup names, you could name them as descriptions (such as CL Leader for a pack leader of carpenter lake) and that would tell you who they are/were without giving them a true name

What I like to do with pack leaders of name them “Mr.” Or “Mrs.” With a part of the pack name, for example I would name the leaders of Coyote Creek, “Mr and Mrs Coyote” because they are the parents. If a new mate is found they will be named “Mrs Coyote II”

Man, I'm currently playing the saga with a wolf named Hare and she's already disbanded 5 packs at age 6 (but stayed a dispersal until age 4) so in two years' time she's killed off 5 packs

Could I ask that you maybe name the leaders of the packs? Numbers with more than 3 digits make my brain fuzz for some reason, and I think it'd bring more into the story! I also saw a comment to name a pup blueberry to keep the berry theme every litter, and I agree! Gooseberry, Raspberry and strawberry would be cute too though.

if you kill Both leaders I find the remaining pack members will find a new breeding pair or the older pups will go find a mate and they will become the new leaders but I also find if you kill those leader the remaining pack will either despairs or leave the area. And I find for the eagle attacks if all the younger pups are in the den but one pick up that pup up and stand in front of the den face the den and keep holding the pup the eagle will have no choice but to give up and fly away I find that works all the time for me jay

Typically for other packs I add the letter of their rank (or eventually one) next ta their assigned number along with an abbreviation for their pack name. So, for example, if 1200F is the leader of a pack Lamar Canyon I'd put her nickname as "1200F LC L." That way I don’t have ta think of names for everyone.

See I tend to name the yearlings as they come of age for rival packs so it makes it easier for me to track what happens to them. Especially for the leaders. I try to give the pack a naming theme and everything it definitely adds a lot of depth to gameplay

i recommend when marking territoryis to also take out some of the other packs borders for me at least it makes them attacking the den or marking are territory a bit longer , especially if you k1ll one of the wolves in there territory lol
