For me, it's the opposite. I'm so used to having a life of being alone (and not knowing anyone) that if someone were to ever want to do something with me (hasn't happened yet, but still), I would feel awkward just from being asked. I would certainly feel awkward if I were to take the trip with the person. I would probably sit there during the trip unable to think up what to say, and noticing they don't have anything to say either, and I would feel like "Why am I here with another person?" Plus, I'm introvert, so it's fitting for me to be alone. So, I know what you mean. You look amazing.
