Good afternoon from chilly Indiana. For the past few years I have been making pans of homemade cinnamon rolls for family and friends. I pass them out so that they can have them for Christmas morning if they would like or just a snack at anytime of day. I get up on Christmas morning and plug the Christmas tree in, then I make a big cup of coffee and have a cinnamon roll for breakfast. My kids are older so we do gifts a little later in the afternoon. My husband and I lounge around for a bit while we finish our coffee and watch some tv. Then I get started on food for the rest of the day. I like to make it early so we can munch on it throughout the day. Our evening consists of lounging on the sofa in our pajamas watching movies once everyone has left for the day. I love having a nice cozy and relaxing holiday! Congratulations on your engagement and I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends!

I first take my dog out, turn the lights on the Christmas tree, light Christmassy candles, make tea for myself, and put overnight french toast casserole in oven. My husband films my kids waiting at bottom of stairs (they still do this even though they are ages 18 and 20), I then play Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song, and we get started with opening presents. Then, we turn our attention to our stockings before having breakfast. 🎄🔔🎄

I agree my favourite time in the morning, and that peaceful feeling, warm and just contentment. I always start with tea, tv usually on, my radio in kitchen, then maybe a orange and proseco then present opening, when my children were young it was a rush in the morning to open presents

I will wake up in the morning hearing the water rushing past my hotel room in Gatlinburg Tennessee.... Having a morning coffee on the crisp cold balcony.... What a beautiful view of the Smoky mountains..... Can't wait❤

We don't give gifts or pajamas. We have breakfast and talk about the seasons' memories. Sometimes dinner with friends or family . This year, it is a quiet Christmas at home. Christmas Eve with friends.

Im Swiss, so we mostly celebrate on the night of the 24th. Dinner and then we open the presents 🎁💝 On the 25th for lunch we have the left over from the night before and for dinner raclette (for me vegan raclette 🤭)
