Each time I hear this song I feel a lump come into my throat as I remember that very sad day. I pray to GOD to hold all who died or were injured, those who were bereaved and the ones who were there to help in HIS LOVING ARMS AMEN.

May I please confirm something? The men who came on stage.. were they some of the mean who assisted in cleaning up after 911? Bill Gaither has to be commended for putting this together. What a wonderful tribute to these men!!

Lisa; those men were firefighters of the FDNY and this was filmed sometime after the 9/11 attacks. Although, I'm not a member of the FDNY myself. I consider these men along with women of the fire service as my brothers and sisters of whom I am very proud. I try to humbly serve my city as a firefighter of 34 yrs. and as a chaplain.

I'm the boy at standing next to my father at 4.28-4.30. Yes all of them on stage and my father were working that day. The one fireman in between the captain and Lt. was in the back of the engine that my father was driving. Engine 294 out of Richmond Hill Queen. It was only by God's grace and love that they came home.
