I believe it's cause he was hiding be was starving. Like the man said. He looked like a corpse. Either that or Julian didn't know he was that starvinf due to bieng so used to it. And in those few minutes he died of starvation. The black void might suggest that time was going faster than it seemed though maybe speeding up his starvation too.

HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING but ow im going to talk about some different ways that Julian had died. 1 - the most clear way in my mind on how he died, starvation since he can't find stuff to eat much that must be the way he had died, but did he eat anything before going on the train? we dont know yet 2 - he was killed, murder ihe might have been murdered, maybe strangled? when we get a clear shot of Julian's head we see that his eyes had rolled back, his mouth open, and it looks like he has wounds on his neck depicting that he was strangled to death. but thats all i really got, this was amazing and i can't wait for more!

I don’t think it would be starvation, since he was somewhat active. A starving person would be much weaker and desperate for food. Plus, I doubt starvation would claim him in such a short timeframe.

Absolutely horrifying. Delightfully thought out buildup to a payoff that will leave you in shambles. It's not loud or bombastic or anything, it doesn't have to be. All it had to do was tell a story, and it did its job right. A continuation would be warmly welcomed imo, but not necessary. Letting the viewer's brain fill in the gaps just adds to the experience.
