I’m just getting into newborn photography and I love what you’re doing. Any tips for a beginner?

Thank you sweetie. I suggest not to get lost in buying a ton of props. Perfect your posing. Find someone who can teach you

how do they always look sleepy and actually sleep for posing? I have a hard time posing on a bean bag, they are always awake for me. Any tips? love what you're doing

Newborn sessions are the most patient I have to be. All I can suggest is take your time and keep an eye out for their comfort. A comfortable baby will sleep

Can I ask what camera settings you use please? Are you using a 50mm lens? Thanks Codie xx
@treichertphotography5 ай бұрын
My camera settings are normally ISO 100-160, F 3.5, SS 1/160. For newborns I use a 35mm. It allows me to get in nice and close

I love your videos! Im an aspiring photographer & Newborn photographer. Just dont have the funds to get my first camera yet.... I lost my job because of covid... so Im looking to start a business. Im no taking photography classes. Any advise on starting out?
@treichertphotography3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words and im glad you enjoy the videos. Im really sorry to hear about your funding due to covid. Im not the "take workshops" kind of person, but when it comes to babies I wouldn't suggest learning on your own. So start off with older people and kids once you get your camera to get basic knowledge and practice. Once you've saved up a little then I suggest taking a newborn safety class so you know how to handle other peoples babies. Keep watching videos, join lots of the fb newborn photographer groups to see more bits and pieces of the trade. Learn the basics first. Learn your camera

Destashes for some. Those are usually found on fb in the baby groups. People are constantly sharing what they are getting rid of
