More of an investment and only for those who REALLY like their laundry to hold a scent but Snif has released detergent and laundry scent boosters that I love! I already wore the Sweet Ash perfume so it’s been nice to be able to add the scent to my laundry too.

I will say that when it comes to vitamin A derivatives, if you start with something gentler like retinaldihyde and progress to higher strength over time and then eventually to tret, it’s so much easier on your skin and the likelihood of irritation is a lot less. Also, purging is absolutely not a guarantee nor is severe purging the norm. I had TERRIBLE cystic acne prior to doing accutane and when I was using tret prior to accutane, I never had severe purging. I maybe had a few more zits than I was having but it was a marginal difference honestly. If you’re happy with naturium then you can 100% stick with that but just saying that you don’t need to be scared of tretinoin at all!

Thank you for the skincare recs!!! I have the same skin type as you and I always feel like it’s so hard to find mainstream products that treat the dryness and the acne at the same time without exacerbating the other problem. I don’t have a handle on it quite yet, so maybe take my skincare recs with a grain of salt, but I really enjoy the hero spf 30 sunscreen as a daily sunscreen specifically because I find that my makeup site so well on top of it.

If you’re looking for something you can use for your skin during the ttc/pregnancy/breastfeeding years you should try Azelaic Acid. The Ordinary has one that works well and is inexpensive. Paula’s Choice has one that works the same but feels a little nicer on the skin and is more expensive. If it works well for you then the dermatologist can get you a higher percentage and if it’s covered it’s the best option.
