I would say one is sassy and one is saucy! I certainly do understand about using tools to save your hands. I just had my second surgery for trigger finger. I never thought as a nurse that I would be typing all day but with electronic health records that's what I do 5 days a week all day and my right hand does not like it.

Yes you can! In fact, that is one of my favorite things to do, use a stencil for dry embossing!!!

Omg! Last time I went to Florida, Nicole surprised me with tickets to the Van Gogh exhibit in Miami. At the end, a video went around the walls of this very austere room. Van Gogh is my favorite and I felt his spirit. I could help the tears that rolled down my cheeks. Cole just grabbed my hand and cried with me. She could feel the spirit.

OK random question, how do you get white embossing powder to not turn yellow when you heat it? I feel like I’m not heating it enough to get the embossing affect because powder still flakes off. But then it seems like I’m overheating it to where it’s turning yellow. Help!

Hey Carrie, it could be the brand you are using? Maybe? I know that overheating can almost make it sink into the cardstock, I've had that happen. But… not turn yellow. Hmmm.

Hi Cathy! Are you using your dye ink brushes with the new Simon ink pads or your oxide brushes? I would think you would you brushes you've designated as dye ink brushes but wasn't sure.

I am using the ones I've designated for dye inks. BUT, i did buy a set JUST for use with all my Simon dye inks. You do NOT need to do that. Honestly. You can wipe a brush down really well on a towel or paper towel and move onto a different type of ink. Then just wash them every now and then!

So can you tell me what you like so much about the new SSS inks and do you like them better than others like Ginas or Catherine Pooler? Idk if you use hers but I see ppl that have and really like CP inks. She has a great color selection. Does Simons ink coordinate with his paper? I’m going to start buying into a new line as I need a color and get out of stampin up. I can’t stand them anymore and would like to get inks that I can coordinate paper with. Thank you for the help! All inks out there are great quality! I just like the high viscosity of the new Simon inks and they stamp beautifully. But so do Gina's! I have all of Gina's inks, as well. I have never tried Catherine Pooler inks, but I have heard they, too, are fantastic quality. It's just what you end up buying but… I really love these new Simon inks. : )

@@czdesign thanks Cathy. Does Simon sell color matching cardstock to these inks? And I’m pretty sure these are water reactive right? Thanks for the help. It’s a big move to step away from stampin up but I haven’t bought a stamp set from them for a very very long time and I can’t stand that they don’t have all the basic primary and secondary ink colors and come out with new colors that are great and run them 2 years then take them away! They are also very behind the industry. Theres not a single stencil! No foil no pastes, etc. Ive bought thousand of dollars in products from other ppl all year! So it will take a while because I’m definitely a matcha matchup girl and Will want paper too. But a little at a time. My demonstrator who I thought was my friend kinda just screwed me over $300 in blends alcohol markers and they only have like 30 colors for that price with non replaceable nibs( and they are soft). So idk how I’ll ever get all I need to start over but I’m going to try. Thanks girl!

Ok…..so I saw a Halloween card with bats I think you did and now I want to start making these…..but I have no idea the tools I need or what they are called. Could you possibly put a list together of what I Need to start out with? It would be greatly appreciated so I don’t waste money on needless tools I might not need. Thank you so much! Kellye

@@czdesign Thank you for answering back…I did find your 5 things you recommended that you need to start video and have been trying to find the best prices before ordering- I did have one more question- about brushes- is there a huge difference in quality of brushes? I found a large set on Aliexpress and wondered if you had any thoughts on that? I’ve bought jewelry and other items from there and have been VERY surprised by the quality for the price. I’m sure it can be hit or miss but they look just like the ones you use. Thanks, Kellye
