​@@ProtoxxGaming I hardly play RuneScape anymore. I play it time to time, so your videos are amazing. You are important to a big majority of players. That being said, don't overwork yourself. Taking this out of the realm of video creating, look at people like Kendrick Lamar in Rap music. He takes YEARS to drop projects, not just because the project takes that much time to do, but because he needs peace. Everything he releases, even if it's been years, always reaches outside of his core fans. With that being said, don't take years between uploading videos 😂 but take breaks my man. You don't need to upload everyday, and not everything has to be a "solid" video. If your heart is in the right place and you show enjoyment of the topic in the video, it will come out way better than a video you feel you need to push out, because jagex changed how much prayer XP burying a bone gives. I could go on forever, and this was pretty long so Tldr; Take your time, focus on mental and physical health, and make videos about things you enjoy.

Regardless if you upload once a month or even 2-3 months, whenever I see a new protoxx video i'll happily sit back and relax. Runescape itself is a dying game, you're welcome to make videos on other things if the mood strikes you. After Space Marine 2 and Path of Exile 2 I've been finding it more and more difficult to log on, in the same timeframe we've just had predatory holiday and MTX events.

My interest in Runescape comes and goes, my main account is almost 15 years old but I started playing for REAL a few years ago. It's a maxed out account, with some 120's like slayer, herb and farming. Of course I still have a lot to do (maybe one day I will have all 120 with all achievements) but it's hard to keep the interest in the game for too long. I usually go a few months without even touching it, and then I start to think about the game again and suddenly start playing it. The thing is, I got my first job in 07/2024 and ever since then I have not been playing much, not just runescape. I have some other hobbies like playing guitar or studying different languages and I feel like I'm not able to put enough time on the things I want to do. I imagine that having a 100k+ channel gives you a sense of responsibility, but you really should focus on your career. Hopefully you will be successful and I wish you all the best!

I started playing runescape when I graduated high school, opened my business and needed something to keep my mind occupied while speaking to customers and handling my business over the phone. I'm a huge multitasker. It was a fit in for me that caught on. Always, always put your real life first. If you are like me and been playing off and on for over 20 years. It's a come and go game. I do not play anymore, lost complete interest. With a busy family and business life, no time for gaming around. But I still log in here and there to stay updated and maxed. I think rune is alright as it is now but all they do for content updates is quests and bosses that dont drop anything good at all. They dont do goos quality of life updates the premium membership is very very useless they dont do yak track anymore. These level 110 updates arent interesting. New slayer monster suck. This Christmas event so far sucks im 900k wrapping paper in no golden gift. Constantly getting cosmetics that i will never wear. Days that i dont work im logged in All day. So much grind for basically no reward

I have not played RS since necro release, and just today i decide to check your channel to see what's going on with RS, and the best RS youtuber is getting fed up with the game and wants to take a break. I have checked some RS streams and it seems like EVERYONE is using Necromancy, this thing that happened in RS3, which is the release of Necro, it completely fucked up the combat system, and it made all other styles seem not worth bothering with in terms of simplicity, cost, DPS and versatility, even after the combat rework, Necro is still the dominant style. I am a Melee main, but when I tried Necro briefly and saw how comprehensive it was, i was speechless... there was a question we used to ask each other, which was fun, and that is "which style is best against this boss/enemy?" no more of that, now just go Necro cuz it's viable almost everywhere, more fun, and not to mention how they put a lock on some bosses to be Necro-Only, back then there was a preferred style, but if you wanted to try others, it was possible, even if it was difficult, but you still get to play the style you loved, now bosses seem unplayable with melee as they seem to be mostly long-distance combat, and you know no one is gonna use Ranged or Magic, they'll go Necro. Like just yesterday I watched your guide for Sanctum of Rebirth, and I researched other latest bosses as well, and realized that going Melee was a complete no-no against latest bosses, which means that I wont be able to play the style that I love in new content, a lot of these bosses require stepping away to avoid damage and engage in combat from long distance, and you can't do that with Melee. one of the biggest and most fun challenges I had was learning solo HM Kerapac with Melee, which is something almost no one does but I did it because I love Melee and I loved fighting Kerapac, no one was against the idea, no one said it was bad, they simply said it was more difficult, but I don't believe that, I believe if you're having fun with the style you're playing, difficulty will not be an issue. it doesn't seem like RS has recovered from this major hit they inflicted on the combat system to players who dedicated so much time to learning combat and playing styles they loved, don't get me wrong, I don't mind switching to Necro, like I said, it's fun, but the existence of other styles feels weird now, it's like that one guy you know who's trying to wave "hi" to you but you pretend like you don't see him. the attitude shifted from "you can play whatever you want" to "no, play this style only". I don't give a fuck what you use other than Necro, you can't deny that what I said is true. so this means that if I come back to RS as a Melee player, am gonna have to stick to playing the same old bosses that I grind, I cant enjoy new content unless I change my WHOLE set up and force play a style that I don't enjoy as much as Melee. Yea... looks like I wont buy a bond.
