Definitely a mistake, not talking with his daughter. And a quite common mistake, in these stories. Next he goes complaining about Amber that 'she takes her mother's side'. What the hell does he expect????? To her it seems as if he just walked away from her mom, destroying her life for no reason. And it's not just about controlling the narrative, it's the wrong assumption that it's 'between the spouses, not the kids', which just nonsense. Of course the kids are involved, simply because of the close relations they have with both spouses.

Spoiler: Husband Stanley caught his cheating wife Linda after throwing the garbage away a few days before Valentine's Day. Linda was having an affair creepy building manager Dino because she felt someone wanted her after she felt like she let her looks go away.. Stanley was also sick and tired of Linda trying to offer sex in order to get something from him. Stanley tricks Linda into signing papers that she will be responsible for her debts claiming they were papers to change the beneficiary. When the divorce happens, Linda will hardly get anything from Stanley, Stanley's young friend Dahlia who he treats like a daughter wanted to set up Stanley with her widowed grandma Margaret. Stanley had actually met her before at the park and had crush on her not realizing she was Dahlia's grandma. Anyhow, Margaret and Stanley end up getting married. Dahlia is now dating the brother (Carl) of Stanley's daughter Amber's husband. Stanley has learned pregnant Amber is on the road to becoming like Linda(using sex to manipulate the husband). Stanley wants to meet up with Amber and her husband Danny so they can learn from the lessons about why he got divorced.

First of, i love these fake stories. But i like commenting on how they could be better too. Linda is given everything and anything she ever wanted. He retires and now that he is home, he shares household chores, as he should. She keeps doing less and less of the household chores, even though she hasnt contributed anything to the household since her daughter moved out besides the household chores. Then she uses withdrawal of sex as a weapon till its no longer a threat to him anymore. So.... shes stopped doing anything to be a wife/partner/friend.... in fact, shes become an irritating squatter at this point. Then, instead of talking to him, she screws the first thing that shown an interest in her. She got what she deserved. Stan should have sent that video to his daughter as soon as she started harping at him the first time. Linda didnt deserve that little bit of redemption at the end.

Linda's side of the story is quite good. Or at any rate relatable. It's nice the guy got Margaret but it's always the same in these stories: the woman pays too high a price for her transgressions, and there is no acknowledgement of the fact that she is of course being silly, simply because she is a woman.
