My mom was diagonsed with cancer in her early 40s and she passed within 6 months after struggling a lot. Its been 13 yrs, now Im a mom to 2 kids still I miss my mom to the core. Nothing and nobody can replace our moms. And Im a believer coz of my mom, she wanted me to read bible n sing devotional songs when her pain was unbearable. This speech reminded me of my mom. May Lord the almighty help you to find peace.

Couldn’t hold back tears, indeed an iron lady as rightly called by her colleagues, can’t even imagine the pain she had to go through all those years but relieved that it’s all over now and she’s sleeping peacefully until our Lord comes in His glory. I will open mine eyes to the love and faith held within. I will keep the love within my heart as I have my father and mother’s love within my heart. Cancer is torture to the body, but our love and faith lie deep within our soul, caring us through whatever we may face in the physical. The love we give and receive in this life remains with us always.

Thank you for sharing this. I am sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent is heart breaking and no amount of time will make it easy for us to accept that they are no longer there. But I applaud your late mother's faith in Jesus. Faith in pain, faith during tribulation while most of us just question God when something doesn't happen the way we expect. I lost my father last year, he was a righteous kind caring person & God suddenly took him away I questioned why God did to our family. But your words gave me relief.
