Definitely going to add this to my arsenal for solo playing! Nice work!

That was a great version. One of my favorite songs! Between actually having seen it in some Fred Astaire thing and hearing someone like Billie Holiday sing it, I guess my interpretation also went to the more playful. I think I clocked in at about one minute and eleven seconds for my whole recording. Maybe I should improvise on it. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in trying to perfect an arrangement and I forget to relax and have fun with the changes after the melody is stated. Thanks for a bit of inspiration!

You've hit on something big here, Chris. Our search for that elusive "perfection" can hold us back for letting go and improvising. Go for it!

Man that’s awesome! I’m trying to learn this kind of accompaniment. Do you take online students? Please, let me know. Great interpretation.

Do you ever sing as you play? I'd love to see a demonstration of one of the tunes in the real book where you accompany yourself singing it. (or even someone else singing it if you never sing).
