After seeing in 2004, the studio used (at the time) for this at Southampton , it was much appreciated to have a personal look around, here in Oxford late-2019. As already said by someone - regrettable that this sub-region is not to be continued.

02:06 02:07 What are all those different numbers for on the instant replay machine and which button do you have to press for the national headline bed?

the answer to your second question is literally shown right there: it's the button that he pressed after pressing the play button.

@@mrhammadmossop1988ul-haq I'd imagine they do, but I (and probably you) have never seen any other BBC One nation/region from inside, so I have no idea.

Hmm the tech here is obviously a fair bit behind the main BBC (where they use Mosart etc). A 25+ year old Aston, wow! (I guess they're like aint broke don't fix it) it's obviously gonna be SD right? Does that mean the news is HD but the overlaid graphics are actually SD?
@deejayC3 жыл бұрын
The cameras used by the journalists in the field are HD, but once brought back into the building everything is downscaled to SD. The whole of the rest of the infrastructure is SD. (Including that ancient Aston).

whats the etc ion lighting desk for i did not see any lights in the studio
@deejayC4 жыл бұрын
There are plenty of lamps above the set (some tungsten fresnel spotlights, some soft lights) plus the LED strips in the set and desk, all of which are DMX fed from the lighting desk.
@mariofan72133 жыл бұрын

David I was wondering do you have a monitor for BBC Two in the control room?
@moelester752711 ай бұрын
I'm assuming he obviously doesn't/didn't need it since BBC Two no longer has any English regions, just the two nations.
