Dang, can't wait for an official english translation. I love me some dry sci-fi dialog without technobabble, which I can infer from the machine translation, but it's hard to really get the tone out of it. Seriously, my favorite depictions of war show the boredom and the intervening strategic planning, where you can discover the characters and the posture of all the major players; only for it to all get thrown out the window in a violent instant. The Expanse kind of did this, but got too fictional for my tastes. I still long for something to sate my desire for cloak-and-dagger politics in a hard sci-fi world.

incredible visuals! superbly exectuted! If I may, id like to make a suggestion: You guys do incredible space scenes. Everything is on point, textures, lighting, modeling- everything. Unfortunately when it comes to the humans, they are not quite on the same level. While they still look great, the rendering of the humans is definetly a few bars below compared to the space scenes. Especially the Animations feel very robotic. Why not solely focus on the space scenes? I think there is a special appeal to hearing a human voice and associating it to a spaceship. I have the video games Homeworld 1/2 as an example in my head. It would elevate the production quality of this series in my humble opinion

ChatGPT translated captions I got from using YTcaptions retriever plug-in with improvements provided by extra context from the video insights plug-in. 1. "Don't be so nervous, young man, please sit down. This time, I didn't expect something would happen at the joint meeting of asteroids." 2. "There was a problem with the Civil Aviation Administration, but it was under control. It's basically nothing serious." 3. "Well, how much information do we have now? At least three signals, starting from the orbit of Ceres, were detected in the monitoring logs, but were they ignored as false alarms?" 4. "How low is the false alarm rate? No one noticed or reminded us." 5. "Young man, the Joint Investigation Bureau didn't send you here just for a simple task. You have to find out the chain of events behind it." 6. "Ceres, relying on the giant planet system, has a tradition of independent thinking. Although a showdown is only a matter of time, why did they lose their composure so quickly?" 7. "Public opinion analysis shows that since the last joint meeting more than ten years ago, Ceres' sentiment for independence has been rising." 8. "The internal radicals continue to expand their influence. Well, it's basically the work of the extreme radicals." 9. "This is for sure, and rationally speaking, Ceres will definitely choose to let Titan intervene to disperse our power." 10. "But the problem is, until now, we have not received any reports or movements about Titan. This is very strange." 11. "Well, I heard that. Because of this, the old guys inside are also worried. They dare not use troops, really used to peace." 12. "In short, our attitude is, the layout of the asteroid cannot change. What about the situation on Vesta?" 13. "The reserve government has just come to power, and the self-sustaining faction is currently stabilizing the riots of other factions." 14. "From the perspective of operational policy, there is not much layout problem. But for the self-sustaining faction, I think it's better to leave a few more steps as a backup." 15. "The temporary meeting will give a decision. The interests of the Earth are inviolable. This is the principle." 16. "For Titan? What they want to do is their business, and the Earth doesn't care." 17. "As for Vesta, it's foreign affairs work. Just follow your plan and contact the gentlemen stationed there. Do it flexibly within the allowed range. Is this rational?"

the level of detail, and how well the lighting plays with the objects in the scenes, is just inconceivably good. even for a studio, this would be is a good quality. i've for a long time been amazed at fr0s7's art. but i think this is what makes the one major flaw even more of a blaring issue, i think. the quality of the characters, their animation, and their voice acting (or rather, the voices chosen for each character/vice versa), isn't very good. bluntly put: it looks like beginner-level stuff. it seems like the creator's aware of that already though ― the composition and lighting is already done in a way that tries to hide the flaws a bit. i've not done too much animation, but even i as an almost complete beginner to animation know overcoming this issue can be very difficult. if i were in this position, i would've probably just not even tried, so i think (at the very least) that the effort by itself is commendable. cant wait to see more
