I bought one and used to on my elk I got it took two blades with help from three other friends the skin and part out my cow elk. Worked fantastic for me since I have smaller hands. I highly recommend it if you’re an outdoorsman.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great choice for the hunters among us.

Would be nice if you were to show how to change the blade

You are absolutely correct. I should have demonstrated that. It's pretty easy, although a little scary trying to pop off a scalpel blade. I have started using small pliers just because I don't like using my bare hands to pull on a blade that small and that sharp.

these knives are great, i absolutely love them! if you want a quality 60 blade then check out the blades made for the havalon piranta knife, (also a great knife)! they are made of quality steel and are thicker, you may have to sand a bit on the knife where the blade snaps on for it to fit. the older 60xt blades are slightly thinner then their new 60a blades, so the may fit better! but then the 60a blades are even stronger! the blades comes in regular or bull nose blades for skinning. and dont worry about getting the knife dirty, it is a 3 piece thrust bearing... it is easy enough to open and clean, but most of the time you can just rinse it out in water, blow it dry then add a tiny drop of oil on the bearing and youre good to go.

Thanks for the advice on the blades!

@@BellowsBlades just keep in mind that they are thicker than normal, it is abit of a hit or miss if they are going to fit the knife... i used a sanding disc for a dremmel to sand out the track on one of mine, (using the disc to sand by hand) so they might require some tinkering to fit! but it is definitively worth it!

Thanks for your good video, what is the size of this razor number?

It will take different sizes, but the larger blade is a #60.

Did you ever say what this is or where they are available?
@BellowsBlades Жыл бұрын
It is a folding scalpel. You can pick them up on Amazon and there are a variety of different brands, styles, and price ranges.

@@BellowsBlades Right. But you reviewed a specific product and never mentioned the name. That’s like reviewing a Spyderco Para 3 and telling your audience that there are many pocket knives and they can find them online. Thanks.

I get you. Honestly, I wasn't aware these existed and was more or less reviewing the idea of a folding pocket scalpel, not a specific model. I'd never even heard of the brand before. But you still make a valid point. It is an Olitans G016.

@@BellowsBlades that’s helpful! Thanks. I do like the idea of not having to sharpen the blades and always having a razor sharp knife. Thanks for the review.

I knew about because I have seen someone customize a Victorinox by adding one to a Swiss Army knife.

Pretty neat. This particular one definitely has cheap quality blades, but otherwise is pretty nice.
