Just wanted to say great youtube. Major motorcycle accident meant I wasn't mobile and cycling was too painful. Took the plunge on a 2nd hand Ebike...game changer. I looked at so many KZbin reviews trying to decide which new one to get when my old girl gives up the ghost. Your post, no faff. Straight into the things most of us want to know about folders...how & how easy is it. Bravo You kept it informative & engaging. Once I knew I might want one, then I might want to know how it arrives, etc etc...so 5 stars And a lesson to many others padding out a video, so I have to spin to the meaty parts. Bravo Seen so many Ebike vids but engwe are turning into the FORD of the Ebike world .no not the only colour is black. Lol The fact it's a bike that fits & suits the masses, and at a price most can afford. Who needs a Ferrari to run the kids to school or do the commute when a focus does it so much cheaper ? Fully agree on the cable discs. Less is often more, and less means fewer things to go wrong, imho. Anyway, great video, all the info in the correct order. Subscribed. Recently bought one of these coincidentally the same colour as yours. I managed to sort out the front light problem by taking off the light bracket and turning it upside down. Then saw off the useless reflector so the light stays the right way up. This will allow the light to be low enough not to be bashed by the basket if used on the front. I use my bike for fishing on the move. Most of my use is on canal paths and tracks. Love it to bits. The video was brilliant. Thank you....

This was a great video thank you I have been researching e-bikes for some time and currently own an old Cannondale full suspension Mountain bike which ive had for over 30 years. Ive a young border collie that runs along side me on the quiet roads and railway tracks. He can manage a lot more miles than me no problem but im starting to struggle a bit and thought this would be a great solution. I bought a standard folding bike for holidays but again distance is limited. Thanks again for a fantastic review. I’ve looked online and they have them in stock. Are you still happy with the bike Dave as i see the review was from 5 months ago

Hi there..Great video and review. Wonder if you could clear a thought up in my mind. The weight.. I have a EP2 pro now and find it heavy.. On this video for the L20 SE and your Video for the EP2 Pro, i would agree with your weights, as you say the L20SE is 17.5 KG and the EP2 Pro is 34KG on your other video, which in my head seems pretty much as i would have expected and thats my reasoning behind buying a L20se and selling on my EP2 Pro. Unfortunately the L20 SE isn't available on ENGWE's UK site and only available through Best Buy Gear, but the weights just dont seem to add up to me. According to Best Buy Gear their spec on weight for the L20se is HEAVIER than the EP2 Pro on Engwe's site spec section. So I'm asking you as the way you move the L20se around when unfolding and folding, seem much more accommodating in my opinion. Am i right to assume your weights are pretty accurate, making the EP2 Pro pretty much twice as heavy than the L20SE. Phew, got there. @@onemanandhiswhippet Cheers for the reply.. No the ep2 is a cracking bike.. However my partner wants one but its much to bulky for her. I have decided to downsize slightly and get a couple of the L20 SE bikes and this will also be a better fit in our estate car as the fold a bit smaller as well. This model makes more sense in a variety of ways.. Even removing the battery is easier making it easier to move when the battery is off. Cheers Mike

How much does a replacement battery cost? I'm thinking the battery is going to be a bit short distance for my intended journeys. But if I transport a spare charged battery It will be ok. I like idea of lighter weight and medium "fat tire" bike (3ins) and it's a step-through foldable. So ticks most boxes for me.

Hi dave to get to that price point did they skimp on the copper in the battery,you know what they say you only get what you pay for......we do have electric in scotland so it's not just an ENGLISH plug it's a BSI one meaning BRITISH 😂

You have electric in Scotland wow how things have moved on 😂 it is a great bike and as good as many of the others I’ve reviewed I think it just may be an older model with the battery external instead of integrated but I couldn’t find any problems with it at all 👍👍👍👍

There are quite a lot of ebikes in the lower price range now that are very good for their price and have quality named brand parts like Shimano and Tektro. I go out with a group some weeks, all of their ebikes cost twice or three times more than mine, but we all have the same forks, brakes, motor/controller and gears! I think I'll stick with cable brakes, the hydraulic seem such a faff, we had to buy a kit to bleed them, and I don't think they are any better than my cable ones on our steep hill. We went to Vote on our ebikes last week. 😁🚲🏞

I have the SE version of the L20 and I can tell you the range of this e bike is terrible down as low as 6 miles range. Pointless e bike.

​@@pacman4568 Did you get it resolved yet? If they've refused you refund and you're within the cooling off period, the best thing would be to threaten them with legal action. There's obviously a problem with the battery if your range has been as poor as you say.
