Well presented. What a shame though that this purposeful building was not maintained and was abandoned.

Saint Stanislaus Catholic College, Tullybeg, Rahan, Co. Offaly. Completed in 1820, it was a Jesuit boarding school until 1886 when it was repurposed for the use of the Jesuit order themselves.

Wow, Its huge, that must of been beautiful when the school was open. The roof in on the verge of total collapse!

Great videography----This old boarding school looks cold and unhappy...even trying to imagine it in it's younger years. The young people who lived and trained here probably grew up to become the "illustrious" things that have ruined the world

Beautiful!! It would be fun to take an FPV drone inside for a look around :) New subscriber here, I will keep notifications on so I can see some of the other cool places you film. I REALLY need to visit the other side of the pond some day!!!

Its a shame is going to ruin. It would already have the rught mix of private rooms and communal areas required for an hotel. My impulse was to develop an arts centre where all kinds of artists and artisans can come together for group projects and teaching/skill sharing. The old chapel would probably make a good performance space. Nice filming and music track.

Thank you. I think the building may be too far gone.

I would think the house is older, probably mid 18th century repurposed for the church, a institution would have no need of the stable blocks possibly on the site of a much older house

Also, the demise has a ha ha definitely not something the brothers would have very very typical of the Anglo Irish country house

Goodness, it must have been rather important during its heyday.
