I visited this graveyard today and all the markers have been removed recently. Thank you for your research and I also agree that this graveyard should be preserved and protected!

I was born a few blocks away from this site and raised nearby. I have had lunch at the cafe in the only remaining building from the penitentiary. I did not know there was a graveyard there, but now I have located it on google maps... my late, great-uncle worked at the pen, so he might have known about it. Thanks for another great video.

I have tried to find this graveyard twice in the last week or so. It may be because of them currently building a something in front of it. But can you tell me how you got to it? I am assuming there is no way through to it from the Ravine Park as I tried that first. I think it's higher up on the hill.

Thank-you for making this video, I live in the area. I certainly have no sympathy for those buried and forgotten here, but it is neat to know the local history. Perhaps you could do a video on the Woodlands Cemetary too. 3000+ unmarked graves of asylum patients makes for a great ghost story!

The stones were dug up last week. Looks like the city will turn this area into a memorial park like they did with Woodlands and use some of the stones as display pieces along with plaques noting some of the inmates.
