A Former Anderson Boyes Apprentice Returns to the Works

Jim Barr was an apprentice winder at the Motherwell mining machinery manufacturer Anderson Boyes and Co from 1957 to 1962. In 2011 Jim returned to factory, now an industrial estate and shared his recollections with us.
Here Jim visits the Directors' office block which was demolished in 2019.
