Of course these are the steps but each step takes time and the next step will hinder solving the prior step. For example understanding why the aggressor was like that will seriously limit the ability to feel the anger and hurt.

Mindfulness creates metacognition. But once you’re thinking about your thinking, you’re (by definition) no longer being mindful. ✌🏼In other words, mindfulness is essential, but not something to get stuck in. Metacognition requires detachment from your senses - the exact opposite of mindfulness. Bottom line: both good. 😁

I don’t understand the forgiveness part. We don’t have to justify, condone or reconcile, but we need to forgive and feel our anger. Feeling anger has never lead me to forgiveness, and after watching the video I still don’t know what would.
