I ordered one about an hour ago. The online dealer-retailer’s website indicated it was in stock. We’ll see. I greatly appreciate your demo.

I’ve been binging your channel the last couple of days. I wish I’d known earlier, and even more than that, I wish these videos had existed in the mid to late 90’s, because I’ve been exploring the same things you cover since that time, except I never get good results like you do 😂

I'm pretty shocked by how much articulation this thing has, definitely dig the ambient sounds

DRV-low wattage-ribbon mic. It just sits right.

Haha I was kind of thinking Anberlin as I was getting to the end of it but we absolutely take Thrice comparisons.

Thanks for the video! thoughts between the Silktone Micronaut and Milkman's The Amp Pedal 50? In either case I will be using IRs/Ox Stomp downstream from the direct outs for recording. Thanks!

What a beautiful little amplifier Mark. I wonder if they will be available in Europe in the near future. Super intro BTW!

You'd have to check w Silktone about it. It's a great little amp though.

Hi Mark! On the DI portion where you using a built on cab sim on the Iridium or one you loaded? If the latter, which one? It sounded spectacular and very much like the amp in the room earlier I the video. Thanks!

Super vibey intro piece - loved it. The mixwave drums sound nice but maybe slightly less..."real?"/organic? compared to GGD you usually use. Not sure if that's down to the software or if your process for programming them differed slightly from your usual in some way. Either way thats besides the point - this seems like a really cool little amp. Big fan of the clean/clean-ish tones and the touch responsiveness is impressive, not as big a fan of the high gain tones - which to me seemed to kinda fizz out and get the tiniest bit harsh on the top end. Love the format of these demos though man so we can hear it at different gain stages and pickup combos. Thanks for this one!
@markjohnstonofficial Жыл бұрын
I’d agree with the less organic feel of the mix wave drums but I’ll chalk that up currently to that I was on kind of a time crunch so I pulled up one of the factory sounds and only mildly tweaked it. Didn’t do any of my usual post processing

@@markjohnstonofficial Definitely fair! Like the sizzle in the snare though. With GGD i find i like to dial in a really nice deep snare sound but hear a snare sound like this with more high end sizzle and decay and makes me wanna experiment!

We as guitar players or at least some are fascinated with tiny amps that sound huge, lol. Am I right or no?

I have to agree. The concept seems super cool and I got really excited about it coz I'm looking for something like this but I've watched 3 demos and I don't hear anything special. These guys doing the demos aren't doing it any favors either. Bland.
