How do you buy two units on the 5gold round (without hero talent) when units cost 3gold each? Is it assumed that you would sell a unit back for the one gold, or are you reference in this example only this hero specifically? *EDIT* is a mantel a card on the board? because if so that answers my question (I had to put it at .75 speed and put on CC) Amazing videos I have to say. I never played hearthstone but my buddies got me hooked on BG about a week ago and I'm so glad I found your channel. The "things I wish I knew" videos are so helpful because I think I will be able to start with better habits. Your content is a bit fast pace; which I'm sure I will appreciate once I have a better grasp of the over-all content but extremely helpful for a person completely new to the game like me, so thank you and cheers.

Ye on 5 gold you usually sell your unit and buy 2 new ones, only of they're stronger of course. I also don't think I ever use the word mantel, if you can put a timestamp I can check what I meant. I have a bit of an accent, but glad to hear the guides are helping you out!

Thanks for the video! :) If we don't care too much about MMR and are looking more for top1s (for achievements and/or to practice final compositions), would you recommend to lean towards power leveling curves (of course always staying smart depending on the game and the hero)? :)

ye if power levels go well they're more likely to go 1st, especially with the new faceless unit it's so easy to get multiple 5 and 6star units. But like you said it's always best to be smart about it since staying on a lower tier for a round can sometimes reward you even more in the right situations

excelent vid, just 1 question :D.. turn 1 always buy a unit even if Im C'thun? I'm really confused cause some pro playerd (seen at HS All-Star) use the hero power instead..

Using the button on turn one is strong because for the rest of the game your hero power gives an extra 1/1 each turn. It is risky though because it heavily relies on a token start so you can button and buy a minion on turn two. In short if you have a token in your shop you should definately freeze it and hero power on turn 1.

I also always heropower on turn 1 as c'thun, but this is one of the rare cases where you don't buy. Same with Maiev, he often heropower on turn 1 and rolls for a pair instead!
