My name is Max Fredriksson! I’m a 25 years old professional MTB athlete from Stockholm - Sweden! After becoming the vice world champion in 2016 I’ve dealt with a ton of injuries from contests. I currently compete at the highest level of Slopestyle MTB riding in the ’’Slopestyle world championships’’ at Crankworx events all around the world. The mind game gets really intense at the top of the course. Glad you made it through without injury and got a score in anyways, your tricks are looking dialed! I just broke my arm on my dirt jumper, so I'm out for this season. Your videos are going to keep me hyped! Can't wait to see what you got up to in Germany on the way home. Side note: I was just on the (paved) pump track, but I'm so glad I always wear my full face helmet! I landed on my left arm and my face. I don't remember anything from the crash until I woke up in the hospital the next morning, but two weeks out and I'm recovering really quickly! If I had my half shell on I think I would have broken my jaw and some teeth, not to mention a worse concussion or even brain damage. Always wear your helmet, and if you can, wear a full face! You only have one brain kids.
